The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max vs Find X9 Pro comparison brings a new name to the larger Find flagship. The main changes are a triple-200MP rear camera system, the Dimensity 9600 Pro processor and expanded video capabilities. Several fundamentals remain familiar, including the 6.78-inch display, 512GB storage and 80W wired charging.
Design and Build: Similar Footprint, More Weight
The Find X10 Pro Max keeps almost the same footprint as the Oppo Find X9 Pro. Both are large phones, and the newer model does not gain a substantially larger screen despite the Pro Max name. Thickness increases slightly, while weight rises from 224g to 233g or 235g depending on the finish.
Luna White introduces a two-tone, camera-inspired appearance, while Titanium Grey provides the other finish. The difference is therefore more apparent in styling and weight than in overall dimensions. Display protection also changes from Gorilla Glass Victus 2 to Crystal Guard.
| Feature | OPPO Find X10 Pro Max | OPPO Find X9 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Dimensions | 161.32 × 76.57 × 8.40mm | 161.26 × 76.46 × 8.25mm |
| Weight | 233g or 235g | 224g |
| Display cover | Crystal Guard | Gorilla Glass Victus 2 |
Display: Resolution Stays the Same
Both phones use a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 2772 × 1272 resolution and 450ppi pixel density. Screen size and sharpness are therefore points of continuity. The Pro Max name does not indicate a larger viewing area than the Find X9 Pro.
Find X10 Pro Max supports adaptive refresh from 1Hz to 120Hz, with 144Hz in supported games. The high-brightness specification rises from 1,800 to 2,000 nits. That suggests additional headroom in bright conditions, although it is distinct from typical brightness, which remains 800 nits, and from a hands-on outdoor visibility test.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max vs Find X9 Pro: Camera
The Find X9 Pro already has a 200MP telephoto camera. Find X10 Pro Max extends that resolution to the main and ultrawide cameras, replacing their 50MP sensors. This makes the biggest numerical changes at the wider focal lengths, rather than introducing a 200MP telephoto for the first time.
Both keep optical stabilisation on the main and telephoto cameras and autofocus on the ultrawide. The newer ultrawide also broadens its field of view from 120 to 124 degrees. Both selfie cameras remain 50MP with autofocus, although the newer front camera covers a wider field of view.
Video adds 8K at 30fps, while 4K at up to 120fps remains available. Higher recording resolution can provide more room for cropping, but it also increases the demands on storage and editing.
| Feature | OPPO Find X10 Pro Max | OPPO Find X9 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Main | 200MP f/1.5, OIS | 50MP f/1.5, OIS |
| Ultrawide | 200MP f/2.2, AF | 50MP f/2.0, AF |
| Telephoto | 200MP f/2.1, OIS | 200MP f/2.1, OIS |

Performance: A New Dimensity Platform
Find X10 Pro Max uses the Dimensity 9600 Pro, replacing the Dimensity 9500 in Find X9 Pro. The newer processor uses a 2nm platform, while the previous model uses a 3nm platform. Both remain octa-core chips paired with LPDDR5X RAM.
The manufacturing change is meaningful hardware development, but it does not translate directly into a fixed percentage improvement in battery life or gaming. Sustained performance also depends on cooling, software and workload. This comparison identifies the platform change without treating a process-node number as a substitute for measured results.

|---|---|---|
| Chipset | Dimensity 9600 Pro | Dimensity 9500 |
| Process | 2nm | 3nm |
| CPU | Octa-core | Octa-core |
Software: ColorOS 17 at Launch
Find X10 Pro Max starts with ColorOS 17, whereas Find X9 Pro launched with Android 16 and ColorOS 16. A newer launch version gives the latest phone a different starting point, but it does not mean the older model stays permanently on its original software.
The Find X9 Pro supports up to five major Android upgrades. A matching, independently resolved update commitment for the new model was not established here, so the comparison does not assume a longer support period. Software features and update delivery should also be distinguished from the camera and processor changes that require different hardware.

|---|---|---|
| Launch interface | ColorOS 17 | ColorOS 16 |
| Confirmed upgrade commitment here | Not confirmed | Up to five Android upgrades |
Storage and RAM: 512GB Remains Central
Find X10 Pro Max offers 512GB storage with either 12GB or 16GB RAM. The Find X9 Pro configuration used here pairs 512GB with 16GB RAM. Both use UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5X memory, so the newer phone does not bring a change in either named technology.
The 12GB version is therefore not a memory increase over the older 16GB configuration. Neither phone supports a memory card. That makes built-in storage particularly relevant for high-resolution video and large photo libraries, even though installed apps and system files reduce the space available for personal media.

|---|---|---|
| Configurations | 12GB/512GB; 16GB/512GB | 16GB/512GB |

Battery and Charging: Capacity Depends on the Battery Version
Find X10 Pro Max has an 8,000mAh Global battery and a 7,150mAh EU battery. Find X9 Pro has a 7,500mAh battery. Consequently, the new model offers either 500mAh more or 350mAh less capacity. Calling the battery universally larger would miss this important difference.
Wired charging remains 80W and wireless charging remains 50W. Those shared limits do not establish identical time to a full charge, and capacity figures alone do not establish which phone lasts longer. Screen behaviour, camera use and network conditions all affect real-world endurance.
| Feature | OPPO Find X10 Pro Max | OPPO Find X9 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Typical battery | Global: 8,000mAh; EU: 7,150mAh | 7,500mAh |
| Wired charging | 80W | 80W |
| Wireless charging | 50W | 50W |
Main Differences
Find X10 Pro Max concentrates its upgrades in the main and ultrawide cameras, video resolution and processor. Display dimensions, storage technology, selfie resolution and charging limits remain similar. Its battery is not larger in every version, making that specification as important as the more prominent camera changes.
